Key West: Day 4

So we were excited to get out and do some sight seeing in Key West. We walked close to 6 miles this day. It was fun to go into all the little, local shops. We found tons of shells for the kids and also a great picture to hang in the guest bathroom.
I think the Keys had some of the coolest trees I had ever seen.

This one had these huge seed pods on them.

We headed to the Aquarium. They had a cool touch tank where you could pick up different sea creatures.

They had some huge sea turtles.

Here J is holding a horseshoe crab. We learned all these creatures do for people in medical research. Did you know that they are studying horseshoe crabs because when injected with cancer they can get rid of it on their own?!?!

J really wanted me to pick one up too. I didn't really want to at first but then remembered that this trip was to be adventurous and do things I had never done before. It wasn't that bad.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57, french fried potato's, big kosher pickle...........We enjoyed our Cheeseburgers in Paradise at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.

House at the southernmost point.
We then decided to go para sailing.
I didn't think I was all that scared but the next day I had big bruises on my arms from holding on so tight.
We were way up there.
Then it was Chinese back at the room for dinner.

  2. I never really burned but by the end of the day I was a little red. And I had 70spf on the entire time. The sun is so much stronger there than here!!!
